FIATA Diploma Training Continues with Field Visits: The FIATA Diploma Training organized in cooperation with the International Transport and Logistics Service Producers Association (UTİKAD) and Istanbul Technical University, participants visited Ekol Logistics.
The FIATA Diploma Training participants visited Ekol Logistics's Sakura Facility in the Status of Authorized Business (AEO) during their visit to the Sakura Facility.
The FIATA Diploma Training, organized in collaboration with UTİKAD and Istanbul Technical University, continues with field visits, where practical applications are examined on site as well as the courses carried out at ITU Faculty of Management.
In FIATA Diploma Training, where each mode of transport is processed with separate modules, the responsibilities of the documents, related conventions and logistics companies used in the logistics sector are handled under the supervision of industry managers and academicians.
Participants, who have at least two years of experience in each sector, have the opportunity to develop a culture of doing business in local and international standards with a holistic approach.
The quota of the FIATA Diploma training is limited to the 25 person who is interested in expanding the range of services with the entrepreneurs who own the logistics enterprise and the managers and executive candidates who want to increase their professional knowledge to world standards. Participants are eligible to receive their FIATA Diploma from FIATA in Switzerland. These diplomas from FIATA are valid in the total 160 country.
The courses of the FIATA Diploma Training, which are held every year between October and June, are held at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Business Administration. Only those who participate in this vocational training on Saturdays have more knowledge about the sector through field visits.
The FIATA Diploma Training participants were in Ekol Logistics's Sakura Facility in Gebze as part of 13 February Saturday site visits. Ekol Logistics executives Akif Geçim and Evren Özataş received information from the trainers. Dr. Umut Rıfat Tuzkaya and Education Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Murat Baskak also accompanied. Within the scope of the field visit, the participants were given partial information on road transport, process flows, requirements for attention during loading and loading samples according to products.
At the same time, Ekol Logistics Sakura Facility, which is within the scope of the Authorized Obligation, was told to the participants about the recent situation in the process of the Authorized Correspondent and the innovations brought by the Authorized Correspondent process.
FIATA Diploma Training field visits, which started with MNG Airlines, will continue with the UN RO-RO Pendik Port following Ekol Logistics.
