DTD Visits TÜLOMSAŞ Facilities

DTD The contractor found the visit to the facility: Turkey Locomotive and Wagon Industry Co. At the invitation of TÜLOMSAŞ, the Board of Directors meeting of DTD on 19 January 2016 was held at TÜLOMSAŞ Facilities located in Eskişehir.
TÜLOMSAŞ officials provided information to the members of the DTD about the production and products during the factory trip before the meeting. After the factory tour, a presentation was made about the technical features of the locomotives and wagons produced by TÜLOMSAŞ during the meeting held with the participation of TÜLOMSAŞ General Manager Hayri Avcı, other officials and DTD Board Members.
TÜLOMSAŞ General Manager Hayri Avcı stated that TÜLOMSAŞ could become a locomotive in three days, they were partners with General Electric in this matter, they were in cooperation with TÜBİTAK on R & D and they could produce TSI certified wagons. In addition, the members of the DTD, taking into account their views and expectations, will be able to direct the production in the coming period, and they are open to all kinds of cooperation by underlining the importance of exchanges of opinions on these issues.
