Bombardier to Produce New Trains for France's Bretonia Region: A new agreement has recently been signed between Bombardier and French Railways (SNCF). According to the signed agreement, Bombardier will produce 4 Regio 8N double-deck electric trains with 2 wagons each for French Railways. The cost of the deal made is 34 million Euros.
Ordered trains will be funded by Brittany regional resources. By using the 2N trains ordered by Brittany, Regio 10N trains will be used in more than 2 in France.
The trains are scheduled to be delivered in 2019. The number of trains serving in the Brittany region will be increased to 21 after the ordered trains arrive.
