The Bogie Tests of Local Trams were Done Successfully: Within the scope of extension of the existing university-gar light rail line in Samsun to Tekkeköy district, Metropolitan Municipality Samulaş A.Ş. ”bogie fatigue type test” of the 8 light rail system vehicle purchased by the company.
Samsun's new trams are manufactured in Bursa. The most important mechanical parts of the trams, bogies, fatigue tests were carried out in the Czech Republic, one of the two accredited laboravers in the world.
The bogie fatigue tests in the laboratories of the Railway Research Institute (VUZ) in Prague, Czech Republic have been successfully completed within the scope of “Method of Determining Structural Requirements of Bogie Frames - Wheels and Bogies - Railway Applications”. During the test, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Samulaş A.Ş. Board Member Kadir Gürkan, Maintenance-Repair Manager Ziya Kalafat, Mechanical-Maintenance Foreman Serkan Salmaz, Mechanical Maintenance Technician Basri Durgun and Durmazlar Inc. Business Development and Strategy Manager Abdullah Bocan was present.
