'WE HAVE OVER 350 LICENSED SKIERS'

Bitlis Youth Services Sports Provincial Deputy Director Medeni Öztaş stated that the city had trained skiers for the National team many times before and said that there are 350 active licensed athletes in Bitlis at the moment. In addition, Öztaş pointed out that there are nearly a thousand inactive athletes, and our city is covered with the snow, which we call white diamonds, so to speak. This is a great blessing and opportunity for us. We have now opened camps in this camp in the alpine, northern and snowboard categories. Our camp will continue between 60 January and 14 February with a total of 236 athletes, including 23 of them in the Rahva area and 7 of them snowboarding. He said that our athletes are taking a basic training course under the supervision of 8 trainers.
