Stating that the Ankara-Samsun YHT line is at the tender stage, Minister Yıldırım said, "With our 286-kilometer High Speed ​​Train Line project consisting of Samsun-Amasya Çorum-Kırıkkale, it will be 2 hours 15 minutes between Ankara and Samsun".

Sharing the details of the giant project that will bring the capital and the Black Sea together, Minister Yıldırım said that the study of the project is completed and the construction will start as soon as the approval is issued. Yıldırım said, “As soon as the Samsun-Çorum-Kırıkkale YHT project is completed, a huge service will be brought to our country. With the project that will connect Samsun Province to Central Anatolia and the Mediterranean Region and will be the most important north-south axis of our country, the said railway corridor will be transformed into a high standard. In addition, with the completion of the Yerköy-Kırşehir-Aksaray-Ulukışla Railway project, it is aimed to reach the railway connection between Samsun-Mersin ports in a short time from north to south ”. Stating that the said line is very important at the point of connecting three major regions, namely Central Anatolia, Mediterranean and Black Sea, Minister Yıldırım said, “The project will be implemented in three stages as Ankara, Çorum and Kırıkkale corridor. "It is planned to make final project preparation tenders in 3 sections, Delice-Çorum, Çorum-Merzifon and Merzifon-Samsun." Saying, “We will realize the comfort of YHT between Ankara and Samsun very soon,” Minister Yıldırım said, “When the project is implemented, our citizens from Ankara will be able to reach Samsun and our citizens in Samsun will be able to reach Ankara in 2 hours. With the giant project, we will not only bring comfort to the people of the two regions but also save them from the journey that takes hours. When the project is put into service, the distance between Samsun and Ankara will be 2 hours and 15 minutes, so we will build a 'fast' bridge between Ankara and the Black Sea. In addition, with this line, high-speed train comfort in both passenger and freight transportation will be achieved in Samsun in a very short time ”.
