Azerbaijan and Iran unite with the railway: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said at a joint press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that the railways of the two countries would be unified by the end of 2016.
Rouhani: ”When it comes to the North-South transportation corridor, the unification of the railways of Azerbaijan (Iran) - Astara (Azerbaijan) at the end of the year will be an important event, Ruh he said.
The u North-South, transport corridor that will unite Northern Europe and Southeast Asian countries will make Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia a whole of railway networks.
