Kocaeli Tramway Project Superstructure Excavation Works Started: In Kocaeli, superstructure excavation works were initiated with the completion of substructure depletion works for the rail system.
Excavations were started for the superstructure of the Akçaray tram project, which will be operated between Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and Sekapark-Otogar. Following the completion of the work on Yahya Kaptan Salkım Söğüt and Hanlı streets, superstructure excavations were started.
Ground improvement studies will be carried out along the excavation line and the ground will be filled with graded material. After these works, the route will start to be laid.
After the completion of the works on the Yellow Mimoza Street and Necip Fazil Street where the displacement works are in the completion stage, the line excavation works will begin. Following the completion of the excavation and excavation works at Yahya Kapan, Mehmet Ali Paşa will begin work on Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard.
