Manila Metro is the capital of the Philippines Transport Network is Growing: The Philippines Capital City Rail Transportation Department and Alstom and Bouygues Travaux Publics companies signed a new agreement. According to the agreement, the companies are based on the Manila Metro 1. They took on the task of extending the line. The total cost of the agreement was announced as 450 million Euros.
According to the agreement, there will be a new line that will have 11,7 km length and 8 station. Alstom, which will have 160 million euro part of the agreement, will perform the rail work, communication system and signalization of the line. It also undertook the expansion of a new storage area and the warehouses currently in service. The line is scheduled to be put into service in 2020.
