The second stage of the rail system in Antalya continues. The General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments of the Ministry of Transport shared the details of the project. THROUGH VIADS
18.4 stations and pedestrian overpasses, 15 bridges and 5 viaducts will also be implemented within the scope of the project with a line length of approximately 2 kilometers with the airport connection. Six pedestrian overpasses will be built on the line, respectively at Cırnık, Yenigöl, Sinan, Kavşak, Kurşunlu and EXPO stations. Approximately 6 percent of the route is planned to be separated from traffic in the project. The line, which will go underground at the Democracy Crossroads, will continue underground for 60 meters. The line, which will not go underground outside the Democracy Junction, will continue over the viaduct at the airport junction.
AIRPORT JUNCTION
The most striking part of the project is located at the airport intersection. As viaducts begin to take shape, one of the most striking elements will be the stations. Two stations to be established at Antalya Airport, one on domestic and international lines, will be worthy of the image of Antalya as the capital of tourism.

When the second stage project is completed, it will be possible to reach the airport in 17 minutes from the square and 37 minutes from the bus station. The last stop will be the EXPO 2016 area. It will be possible to reach the EXPO area in 13 minutes from the airport, 25 from the square and 45 minutes from the bus station.
