CHP Budak asked Deputy Prime Minister Lütfi Elvan about Antalya's transportation projects during the meetings at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Budak said, “You were a candidate in Antalya on June 7, we worked together in Antalya during the election period. Antalya, 17th province and Mersin in terms of roads double-Antalya road in the availability Turkey, Istanbul-Antalya road, Isparta-Antalya, roads, such as the Konya-Antalya road, unfortunately, extremely bad. QUICK TRAIN NO RESPONSE
Noting that many investments are continuing in Antalya, Deputy Prime Minister Lütfi Elvan said, “The works on the Antalya-Mersin route you have mentioned are continuing intensively. We have 27 tunnels on this route and these tunnels continue to be built intensely. We continue to work on Antalya's connection with Isparta, especially at the exit of Antalya. Again, in the Alanya-Mahmutlar-Konya connection, the tender was made for the section from the location called 'Kuşyuvası' to Taşkent. Currently, tunnel works are continuing there as well. On the other hand, we are creating a new line, the main artery connecting Antalya to Beyşehir, as you know, the main state road, where the works are continuing. Tunnel works have also reached the final stage. Our project work continues especially for the areas where we promised to build a divided road ”.
Elvan did not make a statement about the high-speed train to Antalya and the third airport.
