Transportation projects to be started and under construction in Istanbul

Transportation projects that will start and continue in Istanbul: In 2016, the construction of important projects that will be a solution to the traffic nightmare of Istanbulites will start.
The projects that will start in Istanbul on the IMM's list in 2016 and are still ongoing are as follows;
PROJECTS TO START
3 NEW TUNNELS TO ISTANBUL
Interconnected road tunnels are planned for 2 kilometers from Dolmabahçe to Fulya, 4 kilometers from Fulya to Levazım, and 6 kilometers from Levazım to Baltalimanı.
TOTAL LENGTH 13 KILOMETER
The fact that tunnels will be interconnected has an important place in terms of uninterrupted transportation of Istanbul. The sub-highway tunnels between Dolmabahçe-Fulya, Fulya-Levazım and Levazım-Armutlu, which will be built this year, will be completed in 2018. The total length of 660 projects of $ 3 million is about 13 kilometers.
CEP OTOGARI AND TRAVEL LINE
A tram line will be constructed from Eminönü to Alibeyköy for ease of transportation to Alibeyköy, which is one of the bus stations to be built in many parts of Istanbul and whose construction is finished, instead of the Grand Istanbul Bus Terminal. A total of 10 million lira has been allocated for the 492-kilometer line that will go along the Golden Horn, and the project is aimed to be completed in 4 years.
ISTANBUL CARD FOR THE FILLED AND MINIBUSES
Innovation in minibuses and taxis. With the IMM project, in 2016, 100 percent of minibuses and taxis will be transferred to Istanbul Kart.
CERAMIC TO THE TOP OF THE THROAT
With the cable car that will serve between Mecidiyeköy and Çamlıca, Istanbul residents will travel and accompany the Bosphorus view in just 22 minutes. The project, which will reduce Mecidiyeköy - Çamlıca to 22 minutes, will have 6 stops. The line, which will start from Mecidiyeköy, will pass through Zincirlikuyu, Altunizade, K. Çamlıca, B.Çamlıca and reach the mosque under construction. The total length of the line is 10 kilometers. With the project, it is planned to move 6 thousand people per hour. The project, in which the IMM has allocated funds in the 2016 budget, is planned to start this year.
ONGOING PROJECTS
It was announced by Mayor Kadir Topbaş that 2016 million people will use rail systems at the end of 7 by the completion of the projects in İstanbul. It is stated that this number will increase to 2019 million in 11.
IKITELLI-ATAKOY METRO LINE
The İkitelli-Ataköy metro line, the construction of which started in the last months of 2015, will start from Ataköy and merge with Marmaray, and follow a corridor parallel to Basın Ekspres Connection Road and reach the İkitelli South Industrial Station of the Başakşehir-Kirazlı metro line in İkitelli.
DUDULLU - BOSTANCI METRO LINE
Another subway line started in the year of 2015 is the Dudullu-Bostancı line.
It will start from Bostancı İDO Station and reach Dudullu through Kozyatağı, İçerenköy, Türkiş Blocks. The line to be integrated with Marmaray is in Kozyatağı Kadıköy- Eagle Eagle subway, Kadıköy-Ataşehir-Ümraniye-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli subway will be connected to Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy subway at Dudullu Station. The length of the line with 13 stations is 14,27 kilometers, passenger capacity is 45 thousand, journey time is 22 minutes. Bostancı, Suadiye, Üst Bostancı, Kozyatağı, Küçükbakkalköy, İçerenköy, Kayışdağı, Türkiş Blaklorı, İMES, MODOKO, Dudullu, Yukarı Dudullu, Depot stations are also located.
MECIDIYUKOY - KABATAS METRO
One of the important projects in terms of the integration of the rail system with each other is Mecidiyeköy and Kabataş Metro line planned between. The length of the line with four stations is 6.5 kilometers, passenger capacity is 70 thousand, journey time is 10 minutes. Kabataş, Beşiktaş, Darphane and Mecidiyeköy stations will also be located. This line is also under construction Kabataş-Mahmutbey will also be connected to the metro line.
Kabataş- When the Mecidiyeköy line is put into operation, integration with existing rail systems will be provided at four points. Kabataş-Taksim funicular line and Eminönü-Kabataş by tram KabataşIn Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line in Mecidiyeköy, Topkapı-Sultançiftliği line in Karadeniz Mahallesi (Metris region) and Otogar-Bağcılar-Başakşehir line will provide integration in Mahmutbey.
BAKIRKOY - CHERRY LINE
The line integrated from Bakırköy Meydan to Marmaray will be connected to the Yenikapı-Bus Station-Airport line in İncirli.
The passenger capacity of the line with the length 9 kilometers 70 bin and the travel time 13.5 minutes. The station also has Bakırköy İDO, Liberty Square, Zuhuratbaba, İncirli, Haznedar, İlkyuva, Yıldıztepe, Mollagürani and Kirazlı.
