Kayseri High Speed ​​Train line will be activated in 2020: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke in the 120th Year of Honor program of the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce.
Stating that they have given every kind of support in order to realize Kayseri's potential better in the past 13 years, Erdogan said that they have placed Kayseri at the center of their transportation projects.
Erdogan said, “While the city was 79 kilometers divided in 83 years, we added 13 kilometers in 437 years. From where to where. We made our airport potential with the new domestic and international terminal building. Now there are new transportation projects on our agenda, ”he said. President Erdoğan continued his words as follows:
“Work on the Ankara-Yozgat-Kayseri High Speed ​​Train Project continues. Hopefully this line will be in effect until 2020 snakes. Likewise, studies on Antalya-Konya-Aksaray-Nevşehir-Kayseri High Speed ​​Line continue in sections. We are planning to put the entire project into service until 2023. We are modernizing the existing Kayseri-Niğde-Mersin-Adana-Osmaniye railway. Work on this line will be completed next year. The existing Kayseri-Sivas-Yozgat-Ankara railway is also being modernized. This work will be finished next year. Public and private hospitals in Kayseri have made our city a regional health center. With the completion of the city hospital, which is still under construction and which I laid the foundation for next year, Kayseri will become a very important position in this area. 13 residences built in our city through TOKİ means a city of 580-50 thousand people. Likewise, someone was saying in the past, 'I will bring sea to Kaysere or something.' Of course, no sea came to Kayseri. But we brought the sea to Kayseri. The name of this sea is Yamula Sea. We brought it. 60 dams, ponds and irrigation facilities, especially Yamula, brought a beauty that even changed the climate of Kayseri. ”
Stating that he believes that Kayseri has gained the capacity to become a science and culture center with the investments made in the field of education, Erdoğan stated that it is very important to bring service to a city in education, health, transportation, energy and public infrastructure investments.
