In his speech here, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili described today as a "historical day". Reminding that product shipments between China and Europe have been carried out by sea, Garibaşvili drew attention to the fact that this journey takes about 40 days.

Garibashvili stated that with the cooperation of the countries on the historical Silk Road route, transportation will now be much faster and less costly, and from now on, commercial goods can be delivered from China to Europe in a very short time.

Prime Minister Garibashvili said, “We brought the cargo from China to Georgia in 8 to 10 days. We can reach Europe in 3-5 days, ”he said.

The ceremony, the Georgian Foreign Turkey's Ambassador to Tbilisi with the ministers of Economy and Sustainable Development Zeki Levent Gümrükçü and was attended by many officials.
