Earlier this year, upon the request of the Metropolitan Municipality, the Council of Ministers decided to increase the rail system in Konya, the construction of the high-speed train station, the construction of the new rail system covering Necmettin Erbakan University and the campus, and the addition of a 45-kilometer rail system and gave this task to our Ministry. From now on, our duty is to do the work required to meet this rail system need of our walking and developing Konya. For this purpose, project studies have started. Following these, the rail system works will be started, starting from the point where the passenger demand is the highest. Good luck already. "

Expressing that they want to further the position of Konya, which has gained with culture, history, trade and high-speed train, Yıldırım added that they are determined to bring Konya new services in the politics of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and with the support of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In the ceremony, Konya Governor Muammer Erol and Mayor Tahir Akyürek also made a salutation speech.
