Ski Resorts Await Snow in Ilgaz: Hotel operators in Ilgaz Mountain Yıldıztepe Ski Center expect snowfall before the upcoming Christmas.
Osman Satılmış, who is in charge of a hotel in the ski resort, told reporters that the region has not desired snow for a long time.
Emphasizing that preparations for the winter season are completed in the region and their only deficiency is snow, Satmiş said, “We made all our preparations for the winter season. By maintaining our babylift and chairlift line, we brought it into operation. We prepared our ski equipment in accordance with the season. As a hotel, we have completed our deficiencies and cared for it. We are completely ready for the season. ”
Stating that the reservations have started to slowly fill, Satilm said, “We have received a 100 percent reservation for New Year's Eve, we have made nearly 80 percent reservation for a half-year holiday, but unfortunately there is no snowfall. We expect snowfall as hotels in the region. ”
Sold, ski lovers are also eagerly waiting for the season, said:

Çankırı Ski Trainers Association President İmdat Half, said the region needs a moment of advancement.
Reminding that Yıldıztepe Ski Center had a good season last year, Half said, “The weather went very well last season. Precipitation was also pretty good. We left a good season behind. Likewise, we want to have a good season this year ”.
Noting that the snowfall is a bit late this season, the half said, “This year the snow fell early but unfortunately it was not at the level we wanted. It melted in a short time due to the hot weather. We do not want to have a problem before Christmas. We look forward to falling snow for a moment ”.
