Technical Visit to Construction Club Izmit Bay Crossing Bridge

Technical Trip to Construction Club Izmit Gulf Crossing Bridge: Students of Feyziye Schools Foundation Işık University Construction Club organized a technical trip to the Izmit-Gulf Crossing Bridge construction site, which will be the 4th largest suspension bridge in the world.

Izmit-Gulf Crossing Bridge is being built on Izmit Bay within the scope of Gebze-Bursa-Izmir Highway Project. The giant project, which is expected to be completed next year, will reduce the road transportation between Istanbul and Izmir to 3,5 hours. Feyziye Schools Foundation organized a technical excursion between 27 club members consisting of Işık University Construction Club students and their advisors, Zafer Kanbir, on the suspension bridge construction area of ​​the Dilovası Dil Burnu of İzmit Bay and the Cape of Altınova Hersek.

Işıklılar, who took part in the technical tour, took an important experience by taking lots of photos.
