  1. The last 391 meters in the bridge project: Works on the 3rd Bridge, which is a part of the Northern Marmara Motorway, continue for 1500 hours with 24 people.

In the bridge project, 59 of 42 steel decks were assembled and welded. Only 391 meters remain from the confluence of the Asian and European sides. The first phase of the steel deck assembly process has been completed on the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge, implemented by ICA.

391 METER STONE

Assembly and welding of 923 of 59 steel decks, the heaviest of which was 42 tons, have been completed. 391 meters left for Europe and Asia to meet once again. Steel deck assembly and welding operations will be resumed after the installation of the new giant crane called "Lifting Gantry" is completed.

A NEW STAGE IN INSTALLATION OPERATIONS

Cranes previously called "Derrick Crane" were used in the assembly process of the steel deck. Now, a different crane called "Lifting Gantry" will be used. With this crane, we will see that all decks of the bridge will be placed on the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge in the coming months. " said.

NIGHT-DAY 1500 PERSON WORKING

For the construction of 59 steel decks, 1500 people work day and night at a total of three factory sites. Steel sheet from South Korea is made ready for panel production in the factory in Izmit Gebze, and then the panel production is started at the factory in Tuzla, Istanbul. After the production of the panels, they are shipped to Yalova Altınova to form steel decks.
