1. Bridge construction full throttle: More than half of the superstructure works on the European side of the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge and Northern Marmara Motorway Project have been completed.

In the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge and Northern Marmara Motorway Project, superstructure operations are carried out simultaneously with the bridge and other infrastructure construction works. 51 percent of the European side superstructure works of the project have been completed.

Seyfettin Hepdinçler, the project superstructure works officer, gave information about the works and said, “We have 50 vehicles and about 100 personnel in the field. We work with separate teams in Fenertepe, Odayeri, Çiftalan and Uskumruköy regions. Asphalt casting process comes to mind when it comes to superstructure. We have made 38 percent progress in asphalt casting processes. In road works, the completion of the asphalt work means that the job is approaching the end and the road is taken quickly towards the end. Next comes the guardrails and markings, ”he said.

Within the scope of the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge and Northern Marmara Motorway Project, approximately 115 kilometers of highways and connection roads are being built between Odayeri and Paşaköy.
