Today in History: November 28, 1882 Various pleadings have been prepared that can be a model for private enterprises that will make demands from the government regarding the financial affairs of the empire. The Sultan approved these pleadings. These pleadings were published in Düstur on this date between the laws of “Railroad and Bi't-saving, Channel and Port and other Construction- Nafia”.

28 November 1907 The irrigation concession of Konya Plain was given to Anadolu Railway Company. Accordingly, the water of Bey-Şehir Lake is 200 km. It was to be transported to regions suitable for irrigation. Thus, 53.000 hectares of land would be opened to irrigated agriculture. The project was completed in 1913 in accordance with the agreement.
