Erzincan-Trabzon railway will pass through Bayburt: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the mass opening ceremony in Bayburt yesterday. Erdogan, who went to Bayburt from Erzincan with Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım, made interesting expressions about the railway. Stating that the Erzincan-Trabzon railway will pass through Gümüşhane before, the survey projects have been completed in this context, President Erdoğan said in his speech yesterday in Bayburt that the railway will pass through Bayburt. Stating that the Erzincan-Bayburt line studies have started at the Bayburt rally, Erdoğan did not say anything about the Kelkit-Gümüşhane-Trabzon line. "Will the railway passing through Bayburt descend to Rize via Çaykara?" Their discussion started. It is stated that there cannot be two routes for the Erzincan railway, while the Bayburt line can land from Çaykara to İyidere and the Kelkit line from Gümüşhane to Trabzon. The fact that the railway route, which thinks the provinces of the region, is not clear to each other, disturbs the citizens. Politicians are expected to take a clear decision by addressing the issue.
