Palandöken, where 100 thousand people can ski on 13 different tracks, the longest of which is 45 kilometers, and Konaklı has two internationally registered ski tracks for slalom and big slalom races. “PALANDÖKEN WORLD'S MOST SAFE SKI CENTER”

Emphasizing that they spent 8.5 million lira in Palandöken and Konaklı ski resorts in summer in order to provide a better service to domestic and foreign tourists who will come to Erzurum in the next ski season, Kemalettin Işık said:

“With the activities we started in June, we have made Palandöken and Konaklı the safest ski resorts in the world. We have completely renewed the gondola lift, which has been maintained and repaired for almost 18 years. In other words, it would be better to say that we changed the gondola lift. In addition, the pond for the 2011 winter games was not impounding. The pond was insulated. We drained the water underneath the body out of the body. This year, artificial snow pond will hold water for the first time. For security, we furnished the mountain with cameras. The tracks have been widened. From the snow waters, the tracks will no longer deteriorate, they were drained. We are waiting for ski lovers on very beautiful tracks. In 2011 winter games, there was B lift made in Konaklı Ski Center. The public was saying that 'the money of the state was thrown away, one side of the mountain was not working, it was not used, there was not even a track'. We also took care of him. I hope the lift B will be opened this season. Artificial snow making machines have been overhauled. No in Palandöken and Konaklı. Ski lovers who do not come to Palandöken or Konaklı in the winter should not say 'I skied'. We expect the occupancy rate of 90 percent in hotels to be 100 percent this year. ”
