TÜDEMSAŞ Started Mass Production of TSI Certified Wagon: TÜDEMSAŞ General Manager Koçarslan, “The RGNS wagon, which started mass production, is a completely different and innovative design and is the lightest freight car in Europe with a tare of 20,5 tons.”
Turkey Railway Machines Industry AŞ (TÜDEMSAŞ) "Bogie" and "RGNs" type was reported to have started serial production of freight wagons.
According to the statement made by TÜDEMSAŞ, mass production of RGNS type container transport wagon and bogies with the lightest tare in Europe started.
TÜDEMSAŞ General Manager Yıldıray Koçarslan stated that they have taken firm steps towards making Sivas a wagon production center.
Koçarslan stated that the TSI (Mutual Operability Technical Specifications) certification process, which was started about 3 years ago in TÜDEMSAŞ to meet the technical criteria required by the European Union and various international organizations, has been completed for RGNS type container transport wagon and mass production has been noted:
“The RGNS wagon, which started mass production, is a completely different and innovative design, and is the lightest freight wagon in Europe with a tare of 20,5 tons. It is a new generation product with 80 different loading scenarios and bogie integrated brake system. The TSI certification process, which has become a must in the production of freight wagons, is not only related to the product produced, but also related to many areas such as the supply of materials used in its production, storage, work flows in production, traceability of material movements, technical equipment and training of employees. Being aware of this situation, our factory sites, production lines and quality control laboratories have been modernized in the last 3 years, while the material stock areas have been expanded on the one hand, and renewed on the other.

Feridun Özdemir, Director of TÜDEMSAŞ Wagon Production Factory, stated that a robotic welding line was established in order to increase the quality of welding at the factory in order to produce TSI products, and that workers were awarded certificates at the factory as a result of their welding training.
