Examination from the Ministry on the Üçyol-Üçkuyular Metro Line

Investigation from the Ministry to the Üçyol-Üçkuyular Metro Line: The Ministry of Interior sent an inspector to Izmir upon the claims and complaints that the Üçyol-Üçkuyular line was put into service despite reports that it poses security risks.

The claims that the Üçyol-Üçkuyular Metro Line, which was opened by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality last year, did not take into account the scientific reports that it contains risks in terms of security, will be examined by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. After the said reports and allegations announced to the Izmir public, the Ministry of the Interior, which evaluated the application made by the Clean İzmir Association, sent an inspector to İzmir. It was learned that the chief inspector, Aydın Erbul, started to inspect the Metropolitan Municipality Rail System Department. Regarding the allegations, it is stated that İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu can also refer to the statement, while the report prepared by the inspector will determine the fate of the metro.

REPORT EXPECTED
If Inspector Erbul expresses his opinion about the opening of an investigation about those responsible in the conclusion of his report, an investigation may be opened against all bureaucrats who took part in the metro project between 2005 and 2014, especially with the approval of Minister of Interior Selami Altınok. If Erbul states that there is no need to open an investigation, the metro file will be closed. Egeli Sabah, where tunnel ruptures occurred during the construction of the Üçyol-Üçkuyular line, which was built for many years, and that there were no fire detection and extinguishing systems, was announced to the public with their documents, and the Chamber of Electrical Engineers pointed out that it would be inconvenient for the subway to be opened to voyages. From METU Civil Engineering Department, Assoc. Dr. Erdem Canbay came to İzmir on 5 June 2012 to express his reservations about the tunnel, but Aziz Kocaoğlu and Raif Canbek, Deputy Secretary General of Rail Systems, did not attend the meeting.

LIFE DISORDERS
In METU's said report, it was stated that tunnel ruptures occurred in 2011 and 2012 as a result of ignoring the water pressure and calculating the earthquake load while performing tunnel calculations, and this report, which was delivered by Egeli Sabah, had a great impact in the public. Competent scientists on the subject stated that these deficiencies were "vital" and that the opening of the line was extremely inconvenient.

I say DO NOT BUILD
Burhan Özfatura, one of the ex-Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, stated the lines of the subway and said, "I say, do not get on my offspring, my relatives." The problems of the 9-kilometer Üçyol-Üçkuyular line, which can only be completed in 5,5 years and cause the bankruptcy of many tradesmen in the process, have been mentioned by experts at the beginning of the road, but Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu has not taken these warnings into consideration and also has been shaved in tunnels. and that the signaling was provided by very primitive methods, a statement was made from Hanefi Caner, the former head of the rail system department of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, to Egeli Sabah.
