Skoda Trams Enter the Chinese Market

Skoda Trams Enter the Chinese Market: Trams produced jointly by the Chinese company Beijing Subway Rolling Stock and Skoda were introduced. The trams named UrTran 2, which were introduced at the fair held in Beijing, the capital city of China, were produced for use in Chinese railways.

The 100 trolleys, which are produced with 5 low floor, are manufactured in BSR's factory in Beijing. The vehicles that were recorded as the second tram that Skoda produced in this class were first introduced in Konya last year to provide urban transportation. In order to renovate the urban trams, Konya bought the 12 tramline tram from Skoda.

The new trams produced in Beijing were also designed as catenary. The trams were also built to serve as built-in batteries.
