Alstom Transportation Trains Coming to France: According to the statement made by Alstom Transport, it was announced that new trains will be purchased from the company to be used in the Midi-Pyrenees region in France. In the statement made on 5 August, it was stated that 5 electric and 3 electrodiesel trains will be purchased from Alstom Transport to enter service in the Midi-Pyrenees region. The price of the agreement was announced as 46 million Euros.

Before that, the 2009 train was ordered from Alstom in 25 and these trains started to serve in the 2014 in the lines between Toulouse and Latour-de-Carol and Mazamet.

The new train orders will be commuter trains with 4'er wagon. The trains belonging to the Coradia Polyvalent group train category of Alstom attract attention with their high comfort. There is also a separate compartment inside the trains, as well as luggage and bicycle storage.
