A Big Step for the Port of the Belgian City of Bruges: The Belgian city of Brugge witnessed a grand opening on 25 August. The area to be built near the port area (Zeebrugge) in the city of Bruges will help with the regular planning of supplies to or from the port. In addition, after the end of the zone, the foundation of which was laid on 25 August, the load capacity transported to the port will increase and it will enable it to maneuver more comfortably on its freight trains.
The first phase of construction will begin with the transfer of the railway line in that area to another region. This will make room for the new planned line. The area will be protected by 9 meter sets. It will also be supported by high trees and sound barriers.
There was also a participation from the state level at the groundbreaking ceremony. In the speech at the ceremony, "no longer going to or from the port of the container-loaded trains will not pass the streets of the city with discomfort," said.
