Poyraz stated that the infrastructure works of the first phase of Üsküdar-Çekmeköy are about to be completed and that it will be put into service of the citizens in April and May 2016, “This line is very important. LAND PRICES INCREASED FROM 150 TL TO 500 THOUSAND TL

Poyraz stated that there was an increase in land prices in Çekmeköy, which is at the center of the metro and 3rd bridge projects, and that there was a tremendous increase in prices compared to 2009 when he was the first mayor. Poyraz stated that the prices in all the districts of the district increased, “We see that the lands with a square meter of 150-200 TL have increased to 1.000 - 1.500 TL. There is no land for less than a thousand liras. These increases are also present throughout Istanbul, ”he said. Poyraz stated that from the period when one underpass was built in Istanbul in the past, there are now more than 1 underpasses per year. Poyraz stated that the buildings in Çekmeköy grow horizontally and there are no high-rise buildings, and that 270 out of 3 of the district has green areas and the new municipal service building has 2 thousand square meters of green space.

VISION PROJECTS READY

Poyraz, who also gave information about the vision projects of Çekmeköy, said that a living space will be built that will meet the social facility needs of the Çekmeköy region and include parks and sports fields and walking areas. Poyraz said: “Just like Üsküdar Çamlıca Hill, we have 'Çekmeköy Seyir Hill' and 'Çekmekule' projects in our district. With this project, our people will meet with the green on the one hand, and on the other hand, the view of Çekmeköy and the surrounding area can be easily watched.
