4 August 1871 The first railway line of state enterprise Haydarpasa-Izmit railway construction was started.
4 August 1895 Çöğürler-Afyon (74 km) line was opened. The line was purchased on December 31, 1928.
4 August 1903 Bulgarian terrorists blew up some railway points with dynamite. Banice Station's warehouse was set on fire, telegraph wires were broken.
