Indian Railways Renew East Line

The East Line of Indian Railways is Renewed: Another step has been taken for Indian rail transport. DFC (Dedicated Freight Corridor Corp) was signed for the 1840 km railway between Bhaupur-Khurja of the 343 km east line of India.

The necessary procedures have been made and agreed to receive funds from the World Bank for the project. In the statement made by the Indian Railway Ministry, it was said that a separate agreement will be made for the construction works of the line.

Works for the Bhaupur-Khurja line are planned to be completed in 2018. With the end of the project, the capacity of the freight trains serving the line is expected to increase to 13000 tons and the average speed on the line to be 65 km / h.
