Burulaş General Manager Levent Fidansoy, who stated that Bursa Sea Buses (BUDO) within Burulaş continues to be a brand in sea transportation, said, “Akşemseddin with a capacity of 155 passengers, which will provide transportation between İznik and Orhangazi in İznik Lake, goes beyond the mere transportation and becomes a tourist attraction center of the region. It will make a great contribution. As Burulaş, while innovating in the field of transportation, we attach importance to the benefits of every move we make next to transportation. We believe that transportation and tourism show a parallel development. With this in mind, we have tried to contribute both to Bursa's transportation and its development in tourism. In this context, I believe that the journey of Akşemseddin on İznik Lake will contribute to tourism as well as transportation ”.
How will the flights be?
Providing information about the voyages of the Akşemseddin Ship, which will be operated by BUDO affiliated to Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Leven Fidansoy said, “In İznik Lake, the Orhangazi-İznik voyage will be made 4 days a week in the first stage. There will be flights from Orhangazi to Iznik on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 and 17:00, and from Iznik to Orhangazi between 12:00 and 18:00. Also, on Sundays, there will be a single flight from Orhangazi to Iznik at 12:00 and from Iznik to Orhangazi at 18:00 ”. Reminding that passenger tickets between Akşemseddin Ship and Orhangazi-İznik will be sold for 7 TL, Fidansoy added that the ticket sales point will be made from Çınar Restaurant in Orhangazi and from Yeşil İznik Family Tea Garden in İznik.
