Collapse Incident in the Construction of YHT Station in Sakarya: The lawsuit filed at Sakarya Courthouse after the collapse of the pier in the construction of the High Speed ​​Train (YHT) station in Sakarya's Arifiye district continued.

The pier collapsed during the concrete pouring process at Arifiye station, which served as a bridge between Sapanca-Pamukova stops of the High Speed ​​Train (YHT) running between Ankara and Istanbul. After the collapse, 29 workers, who were wounded from under the rubble, were taken to Sakarya University Sakarya Training and Research Hospital and treated. After the accident, the case opened at Sakarya Courthouse 2014th Criminal Court of First Instance continued. While the defendants did not participate in the lawsuit filed with the charge of "Causing Injury of a Person by Negligence", the lawyers of the victim and the accused attended.

In the previous hearing, the case file was sent to the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance and a 3-person expert on occupational safety was asked to examine the file. The president of the court postponed the case to a later date due to the fact that the original file and physical reports were not received from the expert.
