Izmir-Antalya high-speed train project is on the way

Izmir-Istanbul high-speed train line projects on the way: Lutfi Elvan, one of Turkey's most important tourism centers gave the good news to Antalya, which will be carried out high-speed train.

Lütfi Elvan, former Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications and candidate for AK Party Antalya Deputy, gave the good news that they are preparing a high-speed train project from Izmir to Antalya via Denizli.


Stating that there is a line over Afyon, but they want to connect Izmir to Antalya from Denizli, Elvan said, “The high-speed train lines to be built will further revitalize our region and increase domestic tourism. Now, a citizen from Antalya will be able to reach Istanbul in 9 hours, where he goes by bus in 4.5 hours, and 5 hours to Ankara, where he goes in 3 hours.
The construction of the high-speed train line between Ankara and Izmir is currently underway between Polatlı and Afyonkarahisar. This year, we will hold the tenders for the part up to Salihli. We have a high-speed train project that reaches Antalya from Izmir via Denizli ”.
