Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Çelik, who made an assessment on the subject, pointed out that the rental rail system vehicles will bring great relief especially in the University-Talas line, and said, “The 30 vehicles we bought to expand our rail system vehicle fleet will start to arrive at the end of the year. It will be until 2017 for all these vehicles to arrive. During this period, we rented 8 rail system vehicles owned by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality for 2 years in order to meet the density experienced in the rail system line. We are currently doing renovations and interior renovations of these vehicles. We plan to make it ready for service within 2 months and put it into service especially on the University-Talas line. Thus, we will minimize the density on this line and create a more comfortable and fast public transportation environment. " said.
