Çanakkale Bosphorus Bridge increases land prices by 3

Çanakkale Bosphorus Bridge increased land prices 3 times: After the route of the Çanakkale Bosphorus Bridge became clear, land prices in Gelibolu and Lapseki increased 3 times. With the announcement of the Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Çanakkale-Savaştepe Highway Project to be built within the scope of the bridge, the lands were offered for sale in dollars, not lira.

Hakan Erilkun, General Manager of Altın Real Estate, pointed out that land purchases and sales have increased in Gelibolu and Lapseki. Erilkun stated that the square meter of the land in Gallipoli is between 250 lira and one thousand lira, and in Lapseki 150 lira and 750 lira. Emphasizing that the landowners did not sell their plots with the prediction that the bridge will also affect the villages of Gelibolu and Lapseki, Erilkun continued as follows:

“One of our dealers in Lapseki - Yeniceköy, who undertook the sale of a 224 decare land, witnessed that the landowner, who demanded 600 thousand liras before the bridge, increased this figure to 600 dollars after the bridge. Currently, the most popular properties in Çanakkale are large square meters of land. Investors prefer to buy land instead of housing. Although we have witnessed that a land changes hands twice in a week in Gelibolu and Lapseki, we believe that this movement will continue. "

Referring to the housing prices in Gelibolu, Lapseki, Çan, and Yenice, Erilkun said:

“The average sales value of a 100 square meter new residence in Gallipoli is 120 thousand TL and 130 thousand TL, in Lapseki 140 thousand TL - 160 thousand TL, in Çan 100 thousand TL-110 thousand TL, and in Yenice 80 thousand TL - It is around 100 thousand liras. The rental value of a new residence here is between 300 and 500 liras. The average sales of a second hand house is in the line of 60 thousand to 100 thousand liras. "
