Explaining that they will connect Istanbul to Antalya by high speed train, Lütfi Elvan said, “We are connecting Kayseri and Konya to Antalya by high speed train. We will spend 20 billion liras for these two high speed train projects. We will complete both projects in 2020. ”
Stating that 10 million tons of fruit and vegetables will be transported annually on the Antalya-Eskişehir line, Elvan said that Antalya's agricultural products will be transported by high-speed trains.
Stating that there are airport projects in the west of Antalya, Elvan stated that the name of the airport to be built in West Antalya will be “Caretta Caretta”.
