Levent-Hisarüstü mini metro line, which was given by the Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Topbaş in the city council in the previous week, was opened with a ceremony. It is expected that the traffic density on Nispetiye Avenue, which takes the load of the Levent-Etiler route with the metro line that will reach Levent to Hisarüstü in 6 minutes, is expected to decrease significantly. The works of the “mini metro” line, which was realized between Levent Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Journalism, Levent-Hisarüstü, started in 2013. Between January 25, 2014 and February 1, 2014, scissors work was done for the connection to the metro line, which is planned to be opened in last December. Experience rides started in February and there will be four stations, and it will be possible to start with 2 4-series train operations and take 3 trains as needed.
FUNICULAR WILL BE
The maximum theoretical operating speed on the basic line is expected to be 80 km / h. 16 to Taksim, 23 to Yenikapı, 32 to Bakırköy, 54 to Istanbul Atatürk Airport, 57 to Başakşehir, 72 to Üsküdar, 34 to Kartal reach. A project to be carried out in the region will be the Hisarüstü-Aşiyan funicular (rail carriage operating in sloping area). The funicular will reach the coast of Asiyan from Hisarüstü at the 66 minute. The starting point is the project of Asiyan Park.
