Ambassador of South Korea visited General Director of TCDD: CHO Yun-soo, South Korea's ambassador to Ankara, visited Ömer Yıldız, General Director of TCDD, 14 April 2015.
Having congratulated Ömer Yıldız for his appointment as the General Director of TCDD and Chairman of the Board, Ambassador Yun-soo stated that they would like to increase the existing cooperation between the two countries in the field of railway.

Yu-soo, who has visited Hyundai Eurotem Railway Vehicles Trade Limited Company in Adapazarı in 2006 in partnership with Hyundai Rotem and Hyundai Corporation, TCDD, ASAS and Haco from Korea for the production of electric train arrays, light rail vehicles and high-speed train sets, Hyundai-Rotem said it served as a bridge between the two countries.
South Korea's Ambassador to Ankara CHO Yun-soo, TCDD needed for the 80 high-speed train set in relation to the said sets are ready to cooperate in both production and technology transfer, he added.

TCDD General Manager Ömer Yıldız expressed his satisfaction with the visit of Ambassador Yu-soo and said that he had gone to Korea once before and he also visited Rotem Company. A part of the subway vehicles from Rotem pointed out that the Stars, the cooperation between the two countries expressed the desire to continue increasing.
High-speed train sets with about Ambassador Yun-soo stated that TCDD General Director welcomed the cooperation request Stars, the Korean company said they expect to invest more in the railway sector in Turkey.
