Within the scope of 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day activities in Sarıkamış district of Kars, elementary school students celebrated their holidays by skiing and skiing.
In Sarıkamış Fevzi Çakmak Primary School, a group of students came to Cıbıltepe Ski Center and skied by opening the Turkish Flags and Atatürk poster at the 1st stage track and skiing.
School Director Atakan Karabakh, said in a statement to the AA correspondent, 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day activities organized as a school, he said.
Stating that they want to celebrate the holiday in a different way at the ski resort this year, Karabağ said, “We are alone with nature among the scotch pine trees in Sarıkamış. Our children are having fun at the ski resort. Skiing and sled slides are here, and we are trying to contribute to our children as much as we can. ”
One of the students, Tunahan Kurt said, “The Great Leader Atatürk gave April 23 to us and the children of the world. As we are in Sarıkamış, we celebrated our holiday by skiing and skiing. ”
Fourth grade student Aleyna Ögel thanked Atatürk who presented this holiday.
Students who enjoyed the snow to the full, took a souvenir photo by writing “23 April 2015” on the snow.
