URAYSİM Project Evaluation Meeting: AÜ URAYSİM Project Coordinator Prof. Dr. Koçkar: "URAYSİM will create an attractive environment for many projects in the railway sector and the outputs of the center work will make significant economic contributions to the sector in terms of cost and competition"

An evaluation meeting of the National Rail Systems Research and Testing Center (URAYSİM), which is planned to be implemented within the scope of Rail Systems Center of Excellence Project conducted by Anadolu University (AU), was held.

AÜ Transportation Vocational School Director and URAYSİM Project Coordinator Prof. Dr. In his speech at the meeting held in AU Rectorate Senate Room, Mete Koçkar explained that the technical features were given the latest forms with the Rail Systems Cluster.

Within the framework of the URAYSİM Project, it was stated that the works were carried out to carry out the static and dynamic tests of the planned rail and components and the test buildings for which these units will take place.

“URAYSİM, which really coincides with the industry in terms of its scope, purpose and objectives, will create an attractive environment for many projects in the railway sector and the outputs of the center work will make significant economic contributions to the sector in terms of cost and competition. In addition, this center will be an important step and start to increase the international awareness of the latest products of our country's manufacturers. "

AÜ Rector Dr. Naci Gündoğan stated that URAYSİM Project is important for the country and stated last week that the meeting was held with stakeholders.

Referring to the decisions taken on how to continue the project, Gündoğan said, “We will carry out this project with all our stakeholders, especially the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, because we believe that the work we do is important for our country. As the university, we will make our contribution from now on, ”he said.
