Railway Station Attack in the South of China: It was reported that 31 Uighur citizens who were held responsible for the attack in which 3 people died in March last year at the train station in Kunming, the capital of the Yunnan province in southern China, were executed.

The Kunming Middle People's Court announced that the death penalty of Iskender Ehet, Turgun Tohtunyaz and Hasan Muhammed, whose execution was approved by the Yunnan High Public Prosecutor, was executed last October for organizing the attack and deliberately killing people.

In the trial held at the Kunming Middle People's Court in September, three Uyghur citizens were sentenced to death, and Patigül Tohti, the other defendant in the case, was sentenced to life in prison for assault and deliberate murder.

In the southern part of the country, 31 people died and 141 were injured when a group with knives attacked the train station in Kunming, Yunnan province, in March last year. The Chinese authorities described the incident as a "terrorist attack" and announced that those responsible were caught.
