Students Visited the Ümraniye-Çekmeköy Subway Construction Site: A large number of local and visiting students within the scope of the Professional Development of International Students Studying in Istanbul Project supported by the Presidency of Turks Abroad and Related Communities and carried out by the Technical Staff Association (TEKDER) Istanbul Provincial Directorate, Üsküdar-Ümraniye - Visited the Çekmeköy Metro construction site. The technical trip started with the technical presentation of IMM's Control Chief Muhammet Yılmaz. In the presentation, information was given about the progress of the ongoing metro construction and the functionality of the metro line that will emerge when the construction is completed. After the technical presentation, necessary occupational safety measures were taken together with the students, and the tunnels where the subway construction continues were reached, and the work carried out was examined on site. Tunnel and station constructions, excavation-support systems, reinforced concrete manufacturing and coating works for a 20 km long metro line with 16 stations in total were shown to the students.
