In Germany the road fee will not provide the expected income

In Germany, the road fee will not generate the expected income: In Germany, the "road fee" law, designed by the Federal Transport Minister Alexander Dobrindt of the Christian Social Union (CSU) party, is planned to come into force at the beginning of next year.
Minister Dobrindt has announced that he will receive 700 million in revenue annually through state tolls due to toll from foreign vehicles. However, according to a survey by the Green Party Federal Assembly Group, this fee is expected to generate around 320 to 370 million euros.
The ministry made the calculations on the use of foreign vehicles by 170 million times a year on German roads. In the expert report this number is 70 million. Oliver Krischer, Vice President of the Greens Party Federal Parliamentary Group, said that the Federal Government's toll project was absurd.
