Speaking at the ceremony held at the cemetery, Uşak Deputy Mayor Hakan Uludağ said that the Çanakkale Victory, which was won 100 years ago, was very meaningful for the Turkish nation.

Uludağ said, “We will repeat this event in different periods, we are trying to pay our debt of gratitude to our martyrs by visiting them. If we can live in peace today, it is thanks to our martyrs. About 500 people attended the event. The young, the old and the children all rushed to their martyrs with flags in their hands.” After the speeches, the Quran was read and prayers were said.
