Ataköy-İkitelli metro line EIA phase: Ataköy and İkitelli Organized Industrial Site planned to be built between the metro line project has reached the stage of Environmental Impact Assessment.

According to the project report prepared by the Metropolitan Municipality, the new metro line will cost 850 million liras. The Governorship of Istanbul approved the Ataköy-İkitelli Rail Mass Transportation System Project prepared by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department and started the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process.

PLANNING TRAFFIC RELIEF

According to the information in the introduction file of the project submitted to the Governorship of Istanbul, the new metro route, which will start in front of Ömer Duruk Mosque in Ataköy 5th Section, will follow the Basın Ekspres Yolu and extend to Başakşehir İkitelli Organized Industrial Site.

Especially in the morning and evening hours, due to the heavy traffic of the Press Express Way to work in the promotion file, the metro line in the region by the construction of the E-5 and TEM traffic is planned to be relieved on the main roads.

850 MILLION WILL BE LIRAYA COST

The new metro line that joins the old suburban line in Ataköy will also provide integration with the Marmaray Line and Başakşehir-Kirazlı Metro Line. Within the scope of the works, 13 thousand 420 cubic meters of soil will be removed from the subway tunnels that will be built with a length of 858 thousand 880 meters.

In the new subway line İkitelli Güney, Masko, Bahariye, Mehmet Akif, Halkalı Chad. (212), Evren Güneşli, Mimar Sinan, East Industry, Kuyumcukent, Cobancesme, Yenibosna and Atakoy will have a total of 12 stations. The project is planned to cost 850 million pounds.
