The subcontractor company, which undertakes the ventilation, emergency communication and lighting works in the Amasra Tunnel, which has a total length of 1100 meters, has dismantled the 8 jet fans and emergency phone calls in the tunnel. It was claimed that Jetfan and telephones were imported from abroad for the tunnel built by the same contractor firm in Sinop, but were used in the Amasra Tunnel for opening.
The contractor firm said that the jetfan and the phones were secretly disassembled by the subcontractors and they did not know where they were taken, and that they started legal action about the subcontractor.
Jetfan and the new emergency phone were brought to the Amasra Tunnel by trucks today. It has been reported that the installation of the fans and telephones that are unloaded from the trucks with the help of a crane by the subcontractor company officials will be done tomorrow.
Ceyhun Kır, Head of the Construction and Control Branch of the 156th Branch of Highways, said, “The new jet fans that did not comply with the tender specifications were brought by the subcontractor company teams. Emergency phones in the tunnel also arrived. "The assembly will start tomorrow," he said.
