Students were given ski training

The students were given ski training: In Tatvan District of Bitlis, the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation organized a ski training program for successful students who were not well educated.

As part of the program organized at Nemrut Ski Center in Tatvan district, on the one hand, students who do not know how to ski were given ski training for a week while on the other hand, the students were allowed to have fun skiing to their heart's content. Tatvan District Governor Murat Erkan and his wife Çiğdem Erkan visited the students at Nemrut Ski Center and chatted with the students receiving ski training. Stating that as the Tatvan District Governorate, they organized a one-week ski training program for the students as a report card gift this year, just like every year, District Governor Murat Erkan said that with the organized program, the students both received ski training and had the opportunity to ski thanks to this training. Noting that the program lasted for one week and that all expenses of the students within the scope of the program were covered by the Social Assistance Foundation, Erkan stated that the students had the opportunity to have fun to their heart's content thanks to this.

Stressing that thanks to the training provided, the students were also provided with ski training and sports culture was instilled, Governor Murat Erkan said: “We thought of such an activity in order to ensure that our successful children and young people make the most of their free time in their lessons. We organized a weekly ski training program for 7 students who went to 8th and 30th grades during the semester break in order to train a sportsmen with mental and physical health. Within the framework of this program, basic training for skiing was given to our students under the supervision of our ski trainer. Although it was a very short time, we saw that our students were quite successful in skiing. This made us very happy. I hope our activities will continue from now on. ”
