A flash decision in the Channel Istanbul project: The framework of the Kanal Istanbul project became clear at the meeting with President Erdoğan.

Thereupon, it was decided to establish a city with 250 thousand population on both sides. Upon Erdogan's “No tall building” instruction, it was planned to limit the height of the building to 6 floors in these cities. A total of 6 bridges will be built on the channel.

4 of these bridges will be built as the main road route. The 43-kilometer-long channel will be 400 meters wide and 25 meters deep. The channel will be built to allow the passage of large ships. After the urban design plan is completed according to the new population, the development plan phase will be started. In this context, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and municipal company BİMTAŞ will manage the process.

THE CITY WILL BE THE ORIGINAL CLEAR

There will be a silhouette of the city around the canal. In this context, gradual construction will be built from villa type structures to housing projects with the maximum of 6 floors.
