BURULAŞ will organize ferry trips in İznik Lake: BURULAŞ General Manager Fidansoy stated that the project of İznik Municipality has been accepted and that ferry services will be made for tourism and travel purposes in İznik Lake.
Visiting İznik Mayor Osman Sargın in his office, Burulaş Bursa Transportation Public Transport Management (BURULAŞ) General Manager Levent Fidansoy announced that ferry services for tourism and travel will be made in İznik Lake.
Making a statement to the press in the region where the ferry pier will be built, Mayor Sarın stated that there will be ferry services for tourism and travel in Iznik.
Mayor Sarın said that there will be ferry services in Iznik with four piers, including a pier in the place we call boathouse facilities, in Boyaca, Orhangazi and Göllüce or a pier in Muskulé. “These ferry services will also be for tourism and entertainment purposes. Hopefully, we will try to improve this service this summer and our citizens will start to benefit from these services. "Iznik is the capital of civilizations, Iznik is the capital of history, Iznik is the capital of nature and geography, such an event would suit our lake in such beauties."
Stating that he invited all the people of the world to Iznik in this sense, President Sarın said:
