5 intersection will be made to Ankara-Konya highway: General Directorate of Highways will have 5 junction in Ankara-Konya highway Gölbaşı site.
Under the chairmanship of Gölbaşı District Governor Şahin Aslan, a meeting was held to discuss the problems and solutions related to Ankara-Konya highway in the district governorship building. The meeting was attended by people from the 4th Regional Directorate of Highways, Gölbaşı Municipality, gendarmerie, police and non-governmental organizations.
At the meeting, the problems related to the Ankara-Konya highway, where the loss of life and property was frequently experienced, were determined and the information related to the solution was exchanged.
The efforts to strengthen inter-institutional relations and to quickly remove bureaucratic obstacles were discussed. In order to reduce the factors causing accidents, the publicity of the 5 intersection will be made at Gölbaşı site by the Regional Directorate of Highways. It is planned to increase road safety with the intersection and intersection arrangements to be made on the center, Karaoğlan, Oğulbey, Bala and Ahiboz lines.
Gölbaşı District Governor Şahin Aslan said to the AA reporter, at the end of the meetings, "The Konya road should become an element that does not complicate the lives of our citizens, but facilitates the lives of our citizens."
Stating that they are meeting for arrangements that will speed up the traffic flow in Gölbaşı and protect the safety of people and property, Aslan said, “A meeting was held on the coordination and solution of the problems related to the highways in Gölbaşı. The most gratifying news for us in the first place will be the tender of the intersection works starting from the center on the Konya road, including the line of Ahiboz, Karaoğlan, Oğulbey, Bala, signing the contracts in a very short time and the realization phase begins.
